Commission and payout policy

This page explains how CHOICEVIA calculates affiliate commission, milestone bonuses, payout eligibility and product-owner earnings.

Affiliate commission range

The commission rate is product-specific and may be 0% to 50%. It is calculated on the final collected amount after any valid customer discount, not automatically on the original list price.

Affiliate selling CHOICEVIA products

When a person promotes or sells a CHOICEVIA-owned product through an affiliate link, that person is acting as an affiliate, not as a marketplace seller. The affiliate earns only the commission assigned to that product. No CHOICEVIA seller platform fee is charged to the affiliate.

Milestone sales bonus

Milestone bonuses require both the minimum number of Cashfree-verified paid sales and the minimum verified sale value (GMV). The bonus amounts are cumulative target totals, not separate full bonuses at every level. At 5 verified paid sales and ₹5,000 verified GMV, the affiliate reaches a total milestone bonus of ₹250. At 10 verified paid sales and ₹15,000 verified GMV, the total milestone bonus becomes ₹750, so only an additional ₹500 is added after the earlier ₹250. At 25 verified paid sales and ₹50,000 verified GMV, the total milestone bonus becomes ₹2,500, so only an additional ₹1,750 is added after the earlier total ₹750. Both the sales-count and GMV conditions must be satisfied before each level is reached. Failed, pending, refunded, disputed, duplicate, fraudulent, chargeback or self-referred orders do not qualify and may lead to adjustment or reversal.

Seller platform fee

The 15% CHOICEVIA platform fee applies only when a third-party seller lists and sells the seller’s own product on the CHOICEVIA marketplace. This fee is charged from the product-owner seller side only. Affiliates do not pay this platform fee.

Cashfree deduction

Payment-gateway charges are based on Cashfree’s actual transaction or settlement record. Because the final deduction may become available after payment, seller earnings can appear provisional until reconciliation.

Direct seller sale without an affiliate

When a third-party seller’s product is sold without any affiliate attribution, no affiliate commission is deducted. The seller’s amount is the collected payment minus the 15% CHOICEVIA seller platform fee, actual Cashfree deduction and any applicable adjustments.

Confirmation and reversals

Commission and bonuses are confirmed only for Cashfree-verified PAID orders. Failed, pending, refunded, disputed, duplicate, fraudulent or chargeback orders are excluded or reversed.

KYC and payout eligibility

Affiliate registration, link generation and promotion do not require prior admin approval. Affiliate commission may accumulate before KYC, but payout remains locked until CHOICEVIA verifies the affiliate’s KYC and payout details and the underlying eligible commissions have completed required confirmation or reconciliation.

Payout timing and records

Eligible affiliate and seller payouts are processed within a maximum of 5 days after the relevant payment has settled and required verification or reconciliation is complete. A payout is treated as completed only after CHOICEVIA records the payout transaction reference. Bank processing time, payment-provider processing and applicable tax deductions may affect the final amount or arrival time.

Seller content rights and copyright responsibility

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that every book, file, course, image, audio, video, description or other content they upload or sell through CHOICEVIA is their own content or is used with valid permission, licence or legal authority. Sellers must not copy, reproduce or sell another person’s copyrighted work without authorization.

If CHOICEVIA receives a credible copyright, intellectual-property or ownership complaint, CHOICEVIA may temporarily suspend, hide or remove the affected product and may request supporting proof from the seller. Where necessary, the seller account may also be restricted or blocked. The seller remains responsible for claims, permissions and ownership relating to the content they submit.
